The highly anticipated period action thriller, which has been widely called NTRNeel, is currently under production. The movie, which is reportedly titled Dragon, marks the first onscreen collaboration of Jr NTR and KGF director Prashanth Neel. Interestingly, the NTRNeel OTT platform is already finalised, and the digital deal is locked for a whopping price.
As per the latest reports, NTRNeel aka Dragon has now locked one of the all-time biggest OTT deals of the Telugu film industry. The post-theatrical OTT rights of the upcoming Jr NTR starrer are reportedly bagged by the streaming giant Netflix. If the rumours are to be believed, the OTT deal of the Prashanth Neel directorial has been bagged for a whopping ₹155 crore.
According to the grapevine, this OTT deal is exclusively only for the first installment of Dragon, which is being made as a two-part film. While considering the same, NTRNeel has undoubtedly cracked one of the biggest-ever digital deals in the history of the Telugu film industry. Notably, Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel project's post-theatrical rights are sold for such a huge price, much before the team revealed any contents of the film.
Dragon Teaser, Cast, Crew And More: All About NTRNeel As reported earlier, the NTRNeel team is planning to release the Dragon teaser on May 19, 2026, ahead of Jr NTR's 43rd birthday celebrations. Along with the teaser, the makers are also officially confirm the title of the upcoming Prashanth Neel project, by with a special motion poster around the same time. A major announcement on the same are expected to be out soon.
Rukmini Vasanth is set to play the female lead opposite Jr NTR, in NTRNeel. Bollywood's senior star Anil Kapoor and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas and are reportedly roped in to play the pivotal roles in Dragon, which stars some of the finest talents of South cinema in key roles. Ravi Basrur is composing the songs and the original score. Bhuvan Gowda is the director of photography of the film.
